having a few hours to kill, I thought it would be nice to find somewhere quiet to pray for the pilgrimage and all members of the group...what I hadn’t expected was for this to become an ecumenical mini-pilgrimage of it’s own!
First I nodded in respect to this man:
Before praying in St Paul’s Cathedral
And then working my way across London to the beautiful Westminster Cathedral. The choir were singing and the space was so peaceful I felt the presence of God draw near as I sat in prayer.
I was also pleased to be able to light a candle in a niche dedicated to St Christopher - the patron saint of travellers!
